Course Description:
During the Solar Engineering Service-Learning program, students will travel abroad and collaborate with partner organizations and communities, to evaluate, assess, design, pilot, and implement various solar technologies. Must be admitted to the program through the Office of International Affairs before enrolling. Students will enroll in ENGR 4692.XXS (1 credit hour) for second session spring term.

Identify and analyze the impact of sustainable technology on a developing country in terms of the environment, public discourse, economy, education, cultural attitudes, socioeconomics, and public health.
Devise practical and sustainable engineering solutions that involve partnerships with the local partners, including the local community at large.
Participate in a study abroad experience.
Synthesize the theory and practice of service-learning within the local and global community.
