Course Goals / Objectives:
To introduce the meaning of green engineering principles and how they are applied across multiple areas of engineering;
To discuss new and innovative engineering projects, products and processes, both domestic and globally, which align with the themes of each program;
To recognize the meaning of social responsibility as a student and future engineer through commitment of giving back to the community;
To connect students to resources on campus and beyond that can help them in their current coursework and future goals;
To promote and develop awareness and abilities in regards to diversity, inclusion, identity, strengths, and leadership skills.
