Course Goals / Objectives:
To better prepare students for successful completion of their engineering degree through understanding the importance of learning styles, effective study and test taking skills and time management
To assist students to be able to understand and follow university and college policies and procedures
To develop an advising relationship between the student and a knowledgeable academic advisor in their chosen major
To develop a personalized four-year curricular plan
To make students aware of campus resources to enhance their program of study, including use of Engineering Career Services, Younkin Success Center, Student Counseling and Consultation Services, etc.
To facilitate more in-depth major exploration of the engineering majors in which they have interest
