Course Goals / Objectives:
Describe the safety design bases for the construction and operation of systems
Become familiar with plant technical specifications, procedures, and drawings
Explain the fundamentals of system design
Illustrate the design principles with actual plant systems
Describe the operation of plant systems as well as integrated plant operation
Operate a full-function plant simulator at a reactor site
Describe the historical evolution and development of Emergency Operating Procedures
Apply EOP principles to required responses for plant events that might impact the health and safety of the general public
