Course Goals / Objectives:
Deepen their understanding of the scientific method and how to apply it to solve a problem
Develop professional presentation skills
Understand the breadth of research ongoing in the field of CEGE engineering
Develop collegial relationships with researchers in the CEGE department
Communicate the relevance of their research to an audience of peers with a wide variety of research backgrounds
Describe their experimental methods and justify the experimental and/or analytical approaches
Listen to and analyze a professional presentation, ask relevant questions of the speaker, and give constructive to peers on the methods and results of an engineering research project
Describe several foci/topics of current CEGE engineering research and why they are important
