Course Description:
Aircraft Dispatch Fundamentals is the first in a two course sequence of Aircraft Dispatch oriented courses that lead to FAA Aircraft Dispatch Certification. This course provides an overview of aerodynamics, navigation, weather theory and forecasting, and flight planning. Small general aviation aircraft are used as examples in the course. This is an RATP approved course.

Understand the role of an Aircraft Dispatcher
Develop an understanding of the applicable regulations, weather information, navigation, performance, and decision making needed in order to dispatch an aircraft.
Develop proficiency in planning a basic flight plan using a transport category aircraft.
