Course Description:
Project Management is a course that focuses on waterfall (PMBOK) and Agile methodologies for managing projects in the manufacturing industry. Emphasis is placed on project initiation, planning, executing, monitoring & controlling, and closing processes. This course will provide students with an overview of leadership roles and responsibilities, as well as interpersonal skills, conflict resolution.

Course Goals / Objectives:
Know fundamental standards and terms used in project management
Use basic project management software programs
Comprehend all the steps involved with managing a project from start to finish in the project lifecycle, including how to adapt to solve problems along the way
Communicate ideas and plans with everyone involved in a project, including but not limited to sponsors, upper management, and the team.
Influence and lead a diverse team with an awareness of your own strengths and weaknesses as well as those of the team
Understand the impact and implications of dealing with different corporate and global cultures
